Rebound documents the lives of people recovering from spinal cord injury. Patients are enrolled in a groundbreaking program at the International Center for Spinal Cord Injury at the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore. Dr. John McDonald heads the Center.  McDonald's approach, Advanced Restoration Therapy, utilizes special equipment that stimulates normal body movements.  Patients who were told they would never walk again,  are now walking.
